Inksters expand Caithness presence into Thurso

14 December 2018

We have expanded our Caithness operation into Thurso with Charlotte Platt joining us to set up an office at 10 Sinclair Street.

Charlotte is a familiar face in the Caithness and Orkney legal scene having worked in Thurso for D&H (formerly Drever and Heddle) for a number of years. She deals with domestic conveyancing and private client work.

This strengthens Inksters’ presence in Caithness where we already have an office in Wick. Sylvia MacLennan joined Inksters in Wick in 2013 and concentrates on court related matters including civil and criminal court, dispute resolution, family law, debt recovery and contractual disputes.

This latest venture in Thurso adds to Inksters expansion from our initial base in Glasgow to opening offices in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Forfar, Portree and Wick and establishing visiting bases in Inverness and Lerwick.

Brian Inkster said: “I am delighted to be expanding Inksters’ operations in Caithness. Charlotte joining us in Thurso to cover domestic conveyancing and private client work extends our Caithness offering and compliments well the court practice we already have with Sylvia in Wick. I look forward to further developing the business in Caithness with Charlotte and Sylvia in the years to come.”

Charlotte Platt said: “I am very pleased to be joining Inksters who I have always admired as a law firm. I look forward to working with Sylvia to serve the legal needs of the people of Caithness.
