Louise King is the Trainee Solicitor of the Year

Law Awards of Scotland 2011Inksters' Louise King was awarded the Trainee Solicitor of the Year Award at the Law Awards of Scotland 2011.

The Law Awards of Scotland’s annual black tie gathering took place at the Hilton in Glasgow on Thursday 8th September.

The event was attended by the elite of Scotland’s legal profession who were there to watch as the 2011 awards were revealed.

The evening was hosted by Dougie Donnelly and guests were entertained by classical singer Nicola Cassells.

The Trainee of the Year Award was sponsored by the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice, School of Law, University of Glasgow with the award being announced and presented by their Deputy Director, Eileen Paterson.

Brian Inkster said "Louise has done a remarkable job at Inksters as a trainee. She has shown great determination, dedication and initiative. This has created a very positive impact on the firm and one that you certainly would not expect to see at this stage in a lawyer's career. I am therefore extremely pleased that Louise has been recognised by The Law Awards of Scotland with this very deserved award for Trainee Solicitor of the Year."
