Mining on Croft Land

Minerals within croft land are, by law, reserved to the Landlord.

When  minerals are worked issues arise concerning compensation payable to the crofting tenant for the loss of grazing rights.

Brian Inkster has acted for crofting landlords in preparing detailed mineral leases to be granted to mining operators.

Brian has also represented crofters seeking compensation for the loss of grazing rights.

For advice or assistance on any such crofting law matter contact Brian Inkster on 0141 229 0880 or send Brian an e-mail.
