The Legal Process Engineer

28 March 2014

We have appointed Michelle Hynes as a Legal Process Engineer.

Michelle is a law graduate of the University of Glasgow following on from a successful career in International Marketing and as an entrepreneur (having founded two small business ventures). She has a particular interest in business and technology and is well known in legal blogging and social media circles.

Michelle’s role at Inksters will be to systematise the firm’s legal processes within their cloud based case management system. This is a new breed of lawyer that Richard Susskind predicted the arrival of in ‘Tomorrow’s Lawyers’. Richard Susskind calls this the Legal Knowledge Engineer but perhaps had in mind a role broader than the very specific process related one Inksters are currently focussing on.

Brian Inkster said “Inksters have always been at the cutting edge of legal innovation. Having a dedicated Legal Process Engineer will see us systematising all of our processes and in turn assisting efficiency, business growth and profitability. Michelle is ideal for this task and I am delighted that she is joining our growing legal team in Glasgow.”

This adds further to Inksters' recent expansion with a new larger Glasgow HQ and two additional solicitors having joined the team all since November 2013.
