Breakdown of Cohabiting Relationships

Recent legislation means that financial claims can sometimes be made following the breakdown of cohabiting relationships even where the cohabitees were not married or in a civil partnership. These are calculated in a very different way from the financial claims which arise upon divorce or dissolution.
