Crofting Law at the Black Isle Show

2 August 2012

Inksters were at the Black Isle Show on Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd of August. This annual show, held in Muir of Ord, is a major fixture in the Highland agricultural calendar, and (apart from the rain) was a great day out for all the family. The Black Isle Show has been running since 1836 and as well as an array of agricultural related displays, there are also food and craft stands, and children’s entertainment. Alongside this, a range of organisations and professional service providers were at the Show, including the Scottish Crofting Federation and Scottish Land & Estates.

Brian Inkster, Eilidh Ross and Martin Minton were there to meet crofting tenants, owner/occupiers and crofting landlords. There was a regular flow of people at the stand over the two days with an interest in crofting matters.

The Show gave Inksters the opportunity to meet with existing clients and contacts and promote crofting law to potential new clients and contacts. Visitors to the stand received an Inksters branded cotton bag containing an Inksters folder with an Inksters Crofting Law Brochure inside. There was also the opportunity to enter a prize draw to win a bottle of Old Pulteney Single Malt Scotch Whisky.

Brian Inkster said "It has been a very worthwhile two days at the Black Isle Show with Inksters strengthening existing contacts and making new ones. We also saw a few crofting contacts who we hadn't seen for a while which was very nice. I can see Inksters popping up more often at events such as this to bring crofting law and our other services directly to our customers and contacts (new and old)".
