Peter McLean-Buechel
Peter McLean-Buechel brings four decades of experience in Construction Law to Inksters being qualified as a Solicitor in Scotland and England & Wales and a Notary Public in Scotland as well as being a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Peter is qualified as a Solicitor and Notary Public in Scotland and a Solicitor in England & Wales.
His credentials as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators qualify him as an able representative in Arbitration Proceedings as well as enabling him to sit as an Arbitrator in his own right.
Having a first degree in law from Oxford University and a Master of Science degree from the engineering department of King’s College London backed by several decades of experience in the field of construction law, Peter is well placed to advise and assist in all matters relating to construction and civil engineering, both contentious and non-contentious, at home and abroad.
During his career Peter has advised and represented all sides of the construction process from Employers, Funders, Guarantors, Architects and Engineers through to Contractors and Sub-Contractors providing practical advice and support in whatever role he is required to perform.
Equally, the projects in which Peter has been involved vary in size from civil engineering infrastructure projects such as motorways and permanent power solutions for offshore rigs to commercial and residential buildings of all sizes.
In his spare time Peter, who is married to a professional violinist, enjoys musical performance playing his viola in orchestras and bands and singing both solo and with choirs.
