Whither to Twitter a Bit

Inksters' twittering features in a full page article 'Whither to Twitter a Bit' in the May/June edition of The Firm Magazine.

In the editorial Steven Raeburn states "A backward glance at history shows the folly of trying to guess the outcome of an unpredictable situation. Whilst I would never suggest the green shoots of recovery are in evidence, there is much to report on which illustrates there is justifiable cause for optimism. There is resilience in the profession, and enough prgressive thinking to provide hope in this, the darkest of economic landscapes. For instance, Brian Inkster is now one of the millions Twittering, and whilst there may be others tweeting in the world, Inksters is the first firm we are aware of who has applied the trend to a business advantage . . . Fresh thinking, originality and resourcefulness are the hallmarks of survival in business as much as in life. Legal training is sufficiently wide and philosophical to equip every practitioner with the intellectual means to adapt. It is encouraging to see evidence of this all over Scotland, as certain legal markets have dried up".

In the article itself Steven Raeburn states: "One man with a business head that has always been metaphorically under the technological bonnet is Brian Inkster, whose all-embracing approach to e-volution saw him as one of the first solicitors to launch a firm website over ten years ago, as well as being the first in Scotland to utilise a web based digital dictation system, and the first estate agent to introduce the property information to text service. So adopting Twitter is very much in character".
